NSU Art museum: where creativity thrives

Art has a way of drawing people in, sparking conversations, and opening minds—and NSU Art Museum does exactly that, right here in downtown Fort Lauderdale. A staple of the Las Olas community and an active member of the Las Olas Association, the museum is a space where creativity thrives, culture is celebrated, and inspiration is always within reach.

Inside the two-story art museum, you’ll find an impressive collection that spans contemporary, modern, and Latin American art, as well as thought-provoking exhibitions that evolve throughout the year. The museum continuously offers fresh perspectives like current exhibitions by Joel Meyerowitz: Temporal Aspects & Christo and Jeanne-Claude Surrounded Islands Documentation Exhibition.

NSU Art Museum’s creativity goes outside the lines (and walls) with intimate artist talks, hands-on workshops, and lively Art + Stroll evenings that invite art aficionados and those looking for a spark to connect through art. It’s a place where a quiet afternoon visit can turn into a new fascination, where families make memories, and where inspiration finds you when you least expect it.
