Moving to South Florida has been a journey of change, courage, and rediscovery for me. After years of creating handmade soap in a small, close-knit community, I packed my molds, oils, and inspiration and followed my heart to Florida — drawn by the light, the nature, and the warmth of the people.
Soap making, for me, has never been just a product. It is a quiet, grounding process. I work slowly, by hand, using natural ingredients, inspired by plants, colors, and moments from everyday life. Each batch tells a small story — of patience, creativity, and care. Starting over in a new place is not easy. There are unfamiliar streets, new rhythms, and many firsts. But what has surprised me most since arriving is how welcoming South Florida feels. There is a strong sense of community here, especially among local makers and small businesses who value authenticity and craftsmanship.
As I settle into my new home, I’m excited to connect with the creative spirit of the area — the boutiques, artists, and entrepreneurs who make places like Las Olas Boulevard so vibrant and special. I believe handmade work carries energy, intention, and heart, and I’m grateful to be bringing that with me into this next chapter. This is not just a story about soap. It’s a story about starting fresh, creating with purpose, and finding belonging through what you love to make.
