Stranahan House
The Historic Stranahan House Museum is the place where Fort Lauderdale began. It is the oldest surviving structure in all of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County.
The house was built in 1901 by Florida pioneers Frank & Ivy Stranahan and was converted into a museum in 1984. Stranahan House offers daily tours of the museum, hosts educational field trips for local schools, and also provides venue rentals, themed events, happy hours, and craft fairs.
Visit their website at stranahanhouse.org or call 954-524-4736 for more information.
