For over 23 years, the Pocock Gallery has been one of the great South
Florida destinations for lovers of Fine Paintings and Period Antiques.
Now in its new Gallery at the Himmarshee Building on Las Olas Boulevard,
the Pocock family continues to offer a wonderful array of period American,
British and Continental antiques, objects of virtue and an ever-changing
selection of fine and important works of art.
With an emphasis on American Impressionist Paintings of the early to
mid 20th century, the Pocock Gallery has a diversified assortment of
original works by nominated and listed artist and subjects to entice
the interest of most collectors.
Fully researched and valued to the realities
of the market, authenticity and condition are always guaranteed and fully
backed by the Pocock Gallery longstanding trade-up program.
The Pocock
collection - hovering at around 150 original paintings - is perpetually
changing and the atmosphere is inviting and highly social. Pauline – who originally established herself as an art dealer in
the early 1960s in Europe - and her son Stuart, take great pleasure in
sharing their passion for the art and the wonderful pieces in their collection
with clients – many of whom have become dear friends.
The Pocock
Gallery is also always interested in acquiring works by listed artists
of note and in particular, oil paintings by American artists of the early
to mid’ 20th Century. We gladly and openly work with
you to determine appropriate valuation based on comparables and the realities
of the marketplace. We buy outright and provide immediate payment - no
consignments, confusion or renegotiations.
