"I'm not going to say that Cafe Europa has the finest
atmosphere on Las Olas. It's eh, I think, not fabulous in any way other than
there I can enjoy their veggie pizza. Mmmmmmmmmmm -it's number ONE. But we
can get to that in a sec.
Las Olas is good shopping. There are many little cute stores and some
of them aren't outrageously expensive, so it's a big holiday shopping place.
And when you're shopping, you need calories. Especially if you're a power
shopper like I am. We all shuffeled in here one afternoon; I was in a
bad mood, having a little relationship crisis, totally unhappy. We ordered
a few slices of veggie pizza and some cappucinos. We waited about four
minutes for the pizza, the coffee was made right there. I would assume this
changes with how busy the restaurant is.
So, we get the pizza, and. . . and.
. . and it's so fabulous! Such crispy crust, such cheesy buttery mozzerella,
such crispy sweet vegetables, oh. Oh. The pizza plus the cappucino was the
only thing to keep me going that day. In fact, two days later I made my mom
go get us a whole veggie pizza, just as delicious, for dinner. And I truly must
say it's the best pizza I've ever had. So perfect. Every time I go to South
Florida, or, um, even think of going down there, my mouth WATERS. Barely anyone
understands but my boyfriend, Vegetarian Crazy.
And to address the price? Cafe
Europa is basically the only affordable place on Las Olas that I know of,
so I wouldn't complain about the price. I've never had anything bad there, and
$12 for a pizza from a restaurant isn't bad, especially if it's this superb."
