S.E. 6th Avenue to S.E. 11th Avenue is blocked
to traffic – creating a festive Christmas experience on
one of the most famous streets in South Florida – Las Olas Boulevard.
Christmas carolers and performers from all corners of South Florida will
fill the boulevard with the music and melodies that feed the holiday spirit.
This year, local elementary schools, middle schools, big choirs,
small
choirs, as well as local churches
and non-profits are participating.
As always, Christmas on Las Olas will feature
Starbuck's Snow Mountain and the proceeds
will benefit Walker Elementary School. Starbuck's Snow Mountain will be
located near Mangos and Chico's.

Witness a fabulous live Nativity Scene by the MCC Sunshine Cathedral
featuring biblical characters and a manger. Located near Kilwin's.
Don't miss a special guest appearance from the Rockettes and
witness one of the most spectacular downtown Christmas lighting displays that
Fort Lauderdale has ever hosted.
This 42 year Christmas tradition draws in excess of 100,000 revelers each
year and we invite you to come to this exclusive kickoff of the holiday season.
There is no admission charge.

Anyone interested in being a volunteer for the night of
Christmas on Las Olas should please email
for more information.
We are looking for individuals or groups who can volunteer
for various shifts between 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight.
Non profit groups who volunteer will be given a promotional
tent, tables and chairs, if required.
