St Tropez Bistro
1010 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL
(954) 767-1073

IIf you want an authentic, quirky European atmosphere and great food, this is the place.

Naturally, the owners – Christine and Gerard Kiss – are French. And another touch of France is added by the fact that you’ll often see that Gerard, an artist, has his easel set up outside the restaurant, adding a Parisien touch to the boulevard.

And the food! My absolute favorite dish is their onion soup. It fills me up completely – no need for an entree. And it leaves room for a portion of Tarte Tropezienne – the favorite dish of legendary French actress Brigitte Bardot. But do study the menu, it’s magnifique.

I love the decor at St Tropez. It’s  just as a French bistro ought to be. It was created by a movie set designer; watch for the French quotes and sayings chalked on the ceiling and the tables!

You can dine inside the creatively designed dining room but they also have a covered patio at the front of the restaurant. In addition, there’s a covered outdoor dining area to the side of the bistro.

Las Olas in the Community : Offers : Where to Stay : Events : Beach : Location : Join

Las Olas has always been Fort Lauderdale’s most charming thoroughfare.
Las Olas is at the forefront of everything from fashion boutiques and art galleries,
to memorable restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars.

Running almost parallel to Fort Lauderdale’s New River on its way to the Atlantic Ocean,
Las Olas is a broad avenue divided by a wide landscaped median of flowers and towering shade trees.
Over the canal at the east end of the tree lined median, in the Colee Hammock neighborhood,
are more shops, restaurants, and stores too unique to describe… all worth exploring!
The energetically inclined can even walk down to the beach, where Las Olas meets the ocean.

A few minutes from most hotels and easily accessible by water taxi or land taxi,
Las Olas is a lively, pulsating, world class boulevard. Night or day, Las Olas is the place to be.

Special offers and events, where to stay, where to eat - your guide to Las Olas Blvd, the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
(often misspelled as Los Olas, Las Olas means 'The Waves')
