LAS OLAS - BAR GUIDE

Las Olas is the perfect place to sit and have a refreshing cocktail, watching the world go by!

Here are just a few of our favorites:

I love the bar at St Tropez; you could really be in Paris. It's a great place to go for just a glass of wine or two but if you want a snack, I highly recommend their onion soup.

Caffe Europa has a great bar too. Call in for drinks and see if you can resist ordering something from their desserts case!

Try the cosy bar at the Riverside Hotel. Called the Golden Lyon, it's an intimate, wood paneled bar and appetizers can also be ordered. It has a great outdoor seating area which is right on Las Olas - it's a great place to sit and watch Las Olas going by. There's a bar at the back of the Riverside Hotel, too - Preston's. Just walk through the hotel lobby and it's on the left. There's a pleasant seating area outside too, with comfy chairs and tropical plants.

If a wine bar / cafe is more your style, right next door is  Pronto. Pronto serves wines, Italian coffees and gorgeous pastries! It's great for the daytime - you can site outside under one of their bright red umbrellas.

Rocco's Tacos has a selection of HUNDREDS of tequilas! And they're open until 3am. Great food and a party atmosphere too.

Across the street, you'll find Big City Tavern, which describes itself as the type of urban tavern you'd find in New York. It has a full restaurant menu, but if you just fancy a drink, the bar is excellent.

Try  Mangos. They have live music and a full bar. If you're on Las Olas with a young family, Mangos is very kid-friendly.

Did you know that Trata Greek Taverna has a stylish bar? You can also try out some of their Greek specialties from their menu.

You might also like the O Lounge at YOLO, a great nighttime spot. Again, this is a stylish, modern venue and if you're staying for dinner, it has an extensive menu.

Las Olas also offers  Johnny V, SoLita, Vibe, YOLO, Rare,  the O Lounge, SHO Nightclub  ... something for everyone!

Las Olas has always been Fort Lauderdale’s most charming thoroughfare.
Las Olas is at the forefront of everything from fashion boutiques and art galleries,
to memorable restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars.

Running almost parallel to Fort Lauderdale’s New River on its way to the Atlantic Ocean,
Las Olas is a broad avenue divided by a wide landscaped median of flowers and towering shade trees.
Over the canal at the east end of the tree lined median, in the Colee Hammock neighborhood,
are more shops, restaurants, and stores too unique to describe all worth exploring!
The Las Olas location is within walking distance of the beach, where Las Olas Boulevard meets the ocean.

A few minutes from most hotels and easily accessible by water taxi or land taxi,
Las Olas is a lively, pulsating, world class boulevard. Night or day, Las Olas is the place to be.

Special offers and events, where to stay, where to eat - your guide to Las Olas Blvd, the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
(Often misspelled as Los Olas, Las Olas means 'The Waves')
